Pumpkin creme brûlée

1 cup heavy cream2 eggs2 egg yolks1/2 cup canned pumpkin purée 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon1/4 tsp ground cardamom1/8 tsp ground cloves
Preheat oven to 325. Blend all ingredients together. Divide cream mixture among 4 creme brûlée dishes or ramekins. Place dishes in a large casserole dish, and pour boiling water into larger pan, until it comes halfway up on the smaller dishes. Bake for 25-30 minutes until all but the center is set. Remove from oven, cool completely. Either refrigerate or serve immediately. Just prior to serving, sprinkle 1 tsp sugar across the top of each dish and either broil a minute or two, or use a kitchen torch to brown the sugar.
