Bob's Red Mill Garbanzo and Fava Flour, 1.25 cupWater, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) Brown Sugar, .25 cup, packedFlaxseed, 1 tbspSmart Balance Peanut Butter, 2 tbspAgave Nectar (Wholesome Organic Blue Agave), 2 tbspCanola Oil, 2 tbsp (*1 in the batter, 1 for frying)Vanilla Extract, .5 tspCinnamon, ground, .5 tspNutmeg, ground, .25 tsp
Mix all ingredients (minus 1 tbsp of the canola oil) thoroughly in a mixing bowl with a wire whisk. Spread one tablespoon of canola oil with a plastic spatula on an electric skillet heated to 375 degrees. With a ladle, scoop about 1/2 cup of pancake batter and drop on skillet for each cake. Flip after 2-3 minutes. Cook another 2-3 minutes on opposite side. Should be sweet enough to eat without syrup.
