Mexican Chicken Casserole

3 cups coarsely crushed tortilla chips3 cups diced cooked chicken 3/4 cup finely chopped onions2 (11 oz.) can tomatillos, drained and chopped2 (4.5 oz.) can chopped green chiles1/2 teaspoon cumin1 garlic clove, minced1 cup reduced fat sour cream8 oz. reduced fat shredded colby/monterery jack cheese1 cup salsa (optional)
1. Heat oven to 350. Spray 13 x 9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place 2 cups of the tortilla chips in the bottom of the sprayed baking dish. Layer cooked chicken over chips.
2. In a medium bowl, combine onions, tomatillos, green chiles, cumin, and garlic; mix well. Spread mixture over chicken. Drop teaspoons of sour cream over tomatillo mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
3. Cover dish with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of tortilla chips. Bake an additional 10 to 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve with salsa.
