Red Ripe Tomatoes, 3 medium whole (2-3/5" dia)Onions, raw, .5 cup, choppedPeppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, .5 cupTomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz)Garlic, 3 tspMrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend, 2 tsp1/2 cup water*Barilla Whole Grain Rotini, 3 servingHealthier Spicy Turkey Meatballs (by FLUFFYDADDY1967), 4 serving
Dice tomatoes, onion and peppers. Put into crockpot and add the tomato paste, seasoning and water. Mix it all together and cook on high for an hour. Reduce heat to low and continue to cook sauce for 3 hours stirring occasionally. Add the meatballs and continue to cook for an hour. In a separate pot, boil 6 oz of whole wheat rotini to just before al dente. Drain the noodles and add to crockpot. Stir in and let cook in sauce for 30 minutes. Makes 5 servings
