Jeni's Beef and Bean Soup

1 lb.of each (dry): pinto, black, and kidney beans2c carrotsi med-lg onion1/5 lb beef steakseasonings to flavor
1. mix dry beans together and divide into 1/3; set aside 2/3 for later. soak 1/3 in water overnight. drain and rinse the next morning.
2. put carrots, beans, broccoli, caulifower, and various veggies into crockpot; cook on high 4-6 hours
3.saute beef and mix in; cook on med-high for an additional 4-6 hours
Serving Size: makes about 10-1cup servings
