Best Veggie sandwich ever

Ingredients
4 portabella mushrooms1 large tomato1 red pepper1 yellow pepper4 slices of white onion4 romaine lettuce leaves2 tbsp of chopped basil2 tbsp of light Mayo2 garlic cloves fresh2 tbsp of extra light olive oil2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar8 slices of italian bread 1/2 inch thick
Directions
Marinate washed portabello's in olive oil and balsamic and salt and pepper for at least three hours, best over night.
Grill or roast red and yellow peppers until skin is almost black and can be peeled off, peel off skin and set aside. saute or grill portabello's.
While cooking, slice tomatoes, onions.
Mix Mayo and basil together, mix well.
toast the bread in oven or toaster.
cut garlic cloves in half.
rub the half of clove on the toasted bread
and then spread the mayo mix on the toasted bread.
put sandwich together.
