Cooking Spray1 slice whole wheat bread 1 large egg Freshly ground black pepper to taste1 Tbsp. Your favorite Cheese 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives or chopped green onionSriracha, as desired
1) Using a cookie cutter cut a hole in the middle of a slice of bread.
2) Spray one side of the bread and the cutout portion with nonstick cooking oil. Place the bread, sprayed side down, in a heated skillet. Spray the cutout hole with cooking spray.
3) Break an egg into the hole on the bread. Spray this side with cooking spray. Cook a 2 minutes until the egg begins to set.
4) Turn the egg/bread over.
5) Top with the cheese.
6) Cook egg to desired doneness, about 2 more minutes.
7) Sprinkle with chives or green onions.
8) If desired add Sriracha.
Serving Size: Makes 1 serving of egg with toast
