2# boneless skinless chicken breast3/4 cup sugar3/4 cup soy sauce6Tbsp cider vinegar3/4 tsp ground ginger3/4 tsp minced garlic1/4 tsp pepper4 1/2 tsp cornstarch4 1/2 tsp cold water
slice chicken into strips & place in crockpot. in a large bowl, combine sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, garlic & pepper & pour over chicken. cover & cook on low for 4-5 hours. remove chicken & cover to keep warm. transfer juices to a small pot & bring to boil. in a small bowl combine cornstarch & water & slowly add to liquid, cooking & stirring for 2 minutes until thickened. pour over chicken. can be served over hot rice.
