Sister-in-Law's Italian Bean Soup

Ingredients
1 32 oz carton beef broth (low sodium) 2 lbs Italian sausage (medium or hot)2 lbs sausage (generic brand)1 medium yellow onion (approx 1 cup)1-2 tbsp garlic1-2 tsp fennel1 16 oz can small butter beans1 16 oz can black beans1-2 16 oz cans diced Italian tomatoeslots and lots of diced basil
Directions
Saute the sausage with the onion, garlic and fennel. Drain grease. Add broth, sausage and all cans of stuff into a pot. Add basil and let simmer until served.
