Beef Merlot (crockpot)

Ingredients
1lb extra lean stew beef1 small onion (chopped into 1/2" wedges)1 (8oz) package fresh sliced mushrooms3 Tbs cornstarchsalt & pepper to taste1-1/2 C merlot
Directions
place beef in crockpot
top with onion and mushrooms
sprinkle with salt, pepper and cornstarch
pour merlot over rest of ingredients

cook on low for 8-10 hours or 4-5 hours on high

serves 4
