Honey Sesame Chicken

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces2 Tbs olive oil1/2 cup onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, chopped1 tsp red pepper flakes1 tsp ground black pepper1/2 cup honey1/4 cup ketchup1/3 cup sodium reduced soy sauce1/8 cup corn starch1/3 cup water1 tsp sesame oil2 Tbs sesame seeds
Heat olive oil in a large or high sided skillet over medium heat. Add onions and sauté 2-3 minutes or until translucent. Add garlic, pepper, and pepper flakes. sauté another 2-3 minutes.
Add honey, ketchup and soy sauce and bring to a simmer.
Add chicken and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover pan and let chicken simmer in sauce for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
In a separate dish, combine cornstarch and water. Add to simmering chicken and sauce and stir until thickened. Add sesame oil and stir.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds when serving.
