Turkey Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil1 package (19 oz) extra lean ground turkey1 small red onion, diced3 cloves garlic, minced1/2 t cumin1 bell pepper (or about 4-5 mini sweet peppers), diced1 tablespoon grill seasoning blend (recommended: McCormick Montreal Grill Seasoning reduced sodium)2 tablespoons brown sugar1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 cup diced tomatoes, blended (or 8 oz can tomato sauce)1 cup kraft 2% shredded cheddar cheesepepper to taste (incl 1 t red pepper flakes)
Directions
Heat pan over medium and add oil. Sautee onion for a few minutes, until lightly browned. Add bell pepper, garlic, pepper flakes (if using), cumin, and turkey. Brown turkey and break it up as it cooks.

Once turkey browns, add worcestershire sauce and let reduce slightly. Add sugar and seasoning blend. Then add the tomatoes.

Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Either mix the cheese in, or portion into four servings and top each with 1/4 cup of cheese.

Serving Size: Makes 4 sloppy joes.
