Asian Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
Ground beef, extra lean, 32 oz Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped or 2 Tbsp driedGarlic, 3 cloves pressed*Soy Sauce, 2 tbsp *Hoisin Sauce, 6-8 tbsp (1/2 cup or less)Ginger Root, 1.5 Tbsp*siracha chili sauce, 1-2 TbspWater chestnuts, 2 cans diced - drainedScallions, raw, 6 medium choppedSesame Oil, 1 tbsp Carrots, raw, .75 cup, grated Cabbage, fresh, 2 cup, finely shredded Bibb (Butter or Boston) Lettuce - about 20 leaves
Directions
Brown beef, cook onions. Stir together Garlic to Sesame oil. Add to beef/onion mix. Cook a couple minutes at medium. Add water chestnuts and scallions. Cook a couple minutes longer.

If using later, put in fridge. Otherwise add in carrots and cabbage then serve. May keep warm in crockpot.

Let people spoon meat mix onto lettuce and wrap it. Offer Siracha and soy for dipping.
