Steak Soup

Ingredients
3/4 C butter1 C Flour8 C Warm Water2 lb Ground beef extra lean1 T MSG2 T broth and seasoning base1 t Pepper1 C Onions, diced1 C carrots, diced1 C celery, diced2 10 oz pkg frozen mixed veggies1 t Salt
Directions
Melt butter & stir in flour to make a smooth paste. Gradually stir in 8 cups warm water, stirring constantly. In lg skillet saute ground beef, drain & add meat to soup. Parboil onions, carrots & celery for 10-15 mins. Drain and add to soup. Add frozen mixed veggies, MSG, broth & seasoning base, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer & cook 30-45 minutes or until veggies are tender.
