Basic Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients
2 tbsp butter3 tbsp all-purpose flour2 cups milk (any kind is fine, but I use 2%)1/4 cup parmesan cheese 1 tsp garlic (or more! I love garlic.)salt & pepper to taste
Directions
1. Melt butter over medium low heat.
2. Add flour to butter and whisk 2 minutes, until thoroughly combined and flour has had a chance to cook off the 'raw' taste
3. Meanwhile, warm milk in microwave or another pan until steaming but not boiling
4. Add warm milk to flour/butter roux and whisk vigorously for 3 minutes over medium heat, until thickened
5. Add in cheese, garlic and salt and pepper.
6. Pour over cooked noodles and enjoy!
