Mom's Banana Bread

1 3/4 cup flour1 1/4 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda3/4 tsp salt1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp nutmeg2/3 cup sugar1/3 cup shortening2 eggs2 tbsp milk1 1/2 cup banana, mashed
Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg into a bowl.
In another larger bowl, using a hand mixer, mix the sugar and shortening together.
Then add the milk and eggs to the sugar and shortening.
Once the sugar, shortening, milk and eggs are mixed thoroughly, mix half of the flour mixture and half of the banana's.
Then add the remainder of the flour mixture and banana's.
Bake at 350 for 55-65 minutes in a regular sized bread pan.
Serving Size: Makes 1 loaf or 12 slices
