Vegan & Gluten Free Tomato Soup

Ingredients
4 sweet onions, diced2 garlic cloves chopped2 (28 oz) cans of whole tomatoes4 cups vegetable or chicken broth2 cups waterSalt and pepper for seasoning
Directions
Sweat onions and diced garlic in olive oil and butter. Add tomatoes, broth and water. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes until tomatoes are tender. Add to blender.
