Sauce:1 C. Ketchup2 Tbs. granulated sugar2 tspn. chili powder2 tspn. Worcestershire sauce.5 tspn. TobascoRemaining Ingredients:2 Tbs. oil (canola used to calculate recipe)1 med. bell pepper, cut into chunks4 oz. fresh pea pods12 oz. fresh shrimp (frozen can be used as well)1.5 Cups fresh pineapple chunks (canned can be substituted).25 C. sliced green onions
In a small bowl combine all sauce ingredients; mix well and set aside. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Stir fry bell pepper 1-2 minutes. Add pea pods; stir fry an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove peppers and pea pods from pan. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon of oil; add shrimp. Stir fry 2-3 minutes or until shrimp turns pink (if using frozen shrimp, thaw first). Stir in sauce, pineapple, green onions and vegetables. Cook until thoroughly heated. Service over rice or noodles.
