Rice and Beans

Ingredients
3 cup long grain white rice6 servings stew beans (1/2 cup each)1/2-tbsp black pepper1 tsp dried thyme1/2 tbsp salt1 cup water
Directions
Rinse rice and add to a 4qt pot.
Add stew beans (this recipe can be found here on spark recipe)
Add remaining ingredients exept half the water.
Reserve the rest
Bring rice to a boil and then lower fire to low.
Let cook for 10 minutes then turn over rice until rice from the bottom is at the top.
Cover again and let it finish cook until rice grains has split. Turn off fire.
Makes 12 1/2 cup serving
