Chop Suey

Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil23 ounces port chops1 cup chopped onions1 cup diced celery1/2 teaspoon salt3/4 cup bean sprouts1/2 cup waterchesnuts1 cup bamboo shoots2 teaspoons soy sauce2 tablespoons corn starch1 teaspoon granulated sugar1/2 cup pineapple juice1/2 cup pineapple
Directions
Cook port until white, add celery, onions and saute. Add water, salt, pepper, chest nuts, bamboo shoots and canned pineapple.

In a separate sauce pan combine 2 tablespoons constarch, 1/2 cup water, granulated sugar. Add this ingredient to the chop suey mixture simmer until thickened. Pineapple juice can be ued in place of water.

Serving Size: makes 10-1/2 cup servings
