Ingredients
1 block of firm tofuFor the sauce...2 teaspoons of ground ginger3 cloves of garlic, minced2 teaspoons of cornstarch1/4 cup of agave1/3 cup of water1/3 cup of soy sauce
Directions
Press the tofu to get rid of excess water. You can do this with a clean cloth or paper towels. Wrap up the tofu and then put it on a plate. Place another plate on top of the tofu. Then place an object like a can of vegetables on top of this plate so that it presses down on the tofu. Leave for about 10 or 15 minutes. Once the tofu is pressed, cut it into thin slices. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and spread out the tofu on it. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes, flipping the tofu over halfway through. (It may stick a little so be gentle when flipping it and it is best to use a metal spatula). While the tofu is cooking, gather up the rest of the ingredients and cook them together in a saucepan until thickened. Once the tofu is finished baking, pour the sauce over the tofu.
