Crockpot Ham Bone and White Bean Soup

Additional Ingredients include Fresh Parsley for Garnish, 1 tbsp fresh oregano for the soup, salt and pepper and Tabasco sauce to taste.
Choose a pot large enough to hold the beans with water and cover beans withwater by 2 inches. Soak beans over night.Drain the water.
The next morning, place the ham bone in a large slow cooker and cover with approximately 6 cups of water. Add the oregano, chopped vegetables and beans. Cook all day on low heat. When you get home, stir in the chopped ham and heat through (about 30 more minutes). Remove ham bone. Serve with chopped fresh parsley and Tabasco to taste.
