Basic Lentil Soup

Ingredients
onion, garlic, carrots, bay leaf, parsley, sausage, tomatoes, caldo de gallina, water, heirloom tomatoes, lentils
Directions
Saute veggies in olive oil. Add herbs and a dash of salt. Add sausage, cut into small pieces. Saute. Add heirloom tomatoes, caldo de gallina and water and cook down. Add lentils and cook for 40-60 minutes. Season to taste.
