Chewy Chocolate Chip Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup whole wheat flour1/4 cup white flour3/4 cups quick cooking oats1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar1/4 cup margarine softened1/4 cup light sour cream 1 tsp vanilla extract2 large egg whites1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries coarsely chopped1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
in small bowl combine flours, oats, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl beat sugar, butter, and sour cream until smooth. Add vanilla and egg whites, beat until combined well. Gradually add flour mixture until well blended. Add in cranberries and chocolate chips.
Spoon level tablespoon fulls on baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or unil cookies are golden and semi-firm. Cool on pan for five minutes before moving to cooling racks.
Serving Size: makes 4 1/2 dozen 2 inch cookies
