Oatmeal Waffles (or pancakes)

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats1 Tbsp baking powder1/2 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp salt -optional2 eggs -slightly beaten1 1/2 cups milk6 Tbsp butter or margarine - melted2 Tbsp brown sugar
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; set aside. In a small mixing bowl stir together eggs, milk butter, and brown sugar; add to flour mixture. Stir until blended. Pour batter onto grids of preheated, lightly greased waffle iron. Close lid quickly. Don't open during baking. Use fork to remove baked waffle. Top with fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Makes 12 waffles.

Can also cook as pancakes on a griddle/frying pan.
