Brown rice (1 cup cooked), 2 serving (remove)Lentils, 2 cup (remove)Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped (remove)Carrots, raw, 1 cup, grated (remove)Broccoli, fresh, 2 cup, chopped (remove)Garlic, 4 cloves (remove)Olive Oil, 3 tbsp (remove)Pepper, black, 2 dash (remove)Pumpkin Seeds, .5 cup (remove)Ginger Root, 1 tsp (remove)asian five spice, 1 serving (remove)
cook lentils and rice separately, just to tender. set a side too cool. Mince garlic, chop onions, grate carrot, chop broccoli. sauté onions and garlic in olive oil. turn off heat. toss in broccoli, carrots, and pumpkin seeds. mix in spices. toss in lentils and rice. serve warm or let all cool. serve cold with a bit of lime.
