Ingredients
1 cup flour1 cup yellow cornmeal1 tsp. salt2 tsp baking powder1/4 cup sugar1 cup milk1/4 cup oil1 egg
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease 8x8 square pan. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir 25 times ONLY. Batter will have a few lumps. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 F for 20 - 25 minutes. Bread is done when toothpick inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cut into 8 pieces.
