Brown Rice, medium grain, 1 cup Lentils, 1 cup (brown or green, but not red)Pace Picante Sauce, 1 cup15-ounce can of black or kidney beans, no salt added3 cups waterdried onion, chili powder, cayenne, cumin, paprika, other hot sauce to taste
Place all ingredients in saucepan or pot of rice cooker. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed.
Serving Size: Makes 8 1-cup servings as a side or 4 2-cup servings as a main dish
