16oz Can Black beans (rinsed and dried)½ green or red pepper, Onion3 garlic cloves2 Egg whites1 Tbs Chili powder½ tbs Cumin½ tsp cayenne1 C. oats½ C Mushroom½ CornSalt & pepper to taste
Mash beans coarsely then finely chop the pepper, onion and garlic. You can also use a food processor. Be sure to soak off extra moisture. Chop the mushrooms and add all other ingredients except the egg white. Taste the mixture to be sure its the flavor you desire. Then Add the egg white.
You can freeze these into patties then grill or bake in the oven with a little oil or cooking spray.
Cook 5 min on each side.
