PIZZA CRUST2 Cups buckwheat groats, soaked for 20 minutes and rinsed well1/2 cup sunflower seeds, soaked overnight and rinsed2 Tbs olive oil½ apple½ cup ground flax1 Tbs dried or fresh oregano1 Tbs dried or fresh basil½ Tbs onion powder½ tsp sea salt
Process buckwheat groats and sunflower seeds in a food processor until well blended. Mixture should resemble dough. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Spread dough onto a dehydrator sheet about ¼ inch thick in a round shape. Slice into 8 pieces as you would a pizza crust. Dehydrate overnight about 12 hours.
