Ingredients
Beef, top sirloin, 32 oz (remove)*Flour, white, 1 cup (remove)*Onion powder, 4 tbsp (remove)*McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning, 4 tsp (remove)*Potato, raw, 5 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) (remove)Baby Carrots, raw, 25 medium (remove)Peas, frozen, 2 cup (remove)1 onion1 TBSP Olive Oil6 cups water (more if needed)
Directions
combine all the dry ingredients in a large zip lock baggie. add the meat and shake to cover. Heat Olive Oil in large pot, add the meat and brown on all sides. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Turn down and simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is almost tender. Cut onion, carrot and potato into bite size pieces, add and simmer until tender - about 30 min. Add peas and heat through. Makes 10 servings.

    This was very good. The seasoning gives the stew a bit of a kick. I did add a can of tomato paste along with the water when I made my stew, though. - 5/17/08
