Pami's Hearty Lentil Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
16 oz brown lentilslg. can diced or whole tomatoes (or Rotel tomatoes w/ green chilies2 cups fresh or frozen green beans1 can sweet corn3 large carrots3 stalks of celery2 zuchinni2 summer/yellow squash2 potatoes (optional)1 tbsp minced garlc (jar or fresh)32 oz Swanson's 99% fat free beef or chicken brothSeason to your taste...I don't measure. LOLcurry powederthymegarlic powderpepperMrs DashTbsp. Worstershire sauce (if desired)Dash or 2 of red pepper to spice it up (optional)lg bay leaf.Makes about 6 2 cup servings.
Directions
Put your broth on to boil add lentils and veggies. Add water and seasoning. Stir. Turn to medium heat after it comes to a good boil, for 30 minutes, then low medium simmer. Ready in an hour and 1/2 and so very tasty. You can add any type of meat. Smoked turkey sausage is great! Bon appetite. :)
