Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 cup sugar1/2 cup shortening (applesauce)2 eggs2 cups whole wheat flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp vanilla1/4 tsp salt3 bananas
Directions
Mix all ingredients together. Grease and flour 2 bread pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hr.

Cool and serve.

    I thought this was very good, very moist. However, if you are not used to wheat flour; you may want to do half ragular flour and half wheat flour until you get used to the taste of the wheat flour. - 1/20/09
