1 block extra firm tofu 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp poultry seasoning or seasoning salt
drain tofu and place tofu in between paper towells to remove any additional water
cut tofu into 1/4 inch thick slices
roll the tofu in seasoning salt
pour 2 tbsp olive oil in a wok or skillet
heat olive oil on high heat
once oil is hot place tofu in oil and cook until brown - flip and do the same on the opposite side.
when cooking you can add more seasoning by sprinkling direfctly on the tofu.

This was my first taste of tofu - I really liked it! I used extra firm diced tofu, but you really have to watch it or it will burn. It tasted like a cross between fried cheese/fried chicken/fried potatoes. I could imagine eating any of these while I enjoyed my healthy tofu version! - 4/29/08
