Ingredients
3 lemons0.75 cup sugar8 cups water
Directions
slice lemons very thinly, removing seeds as you go. place lemons in a pan with a with a wide mouth and bottom. add sugar. stomp lemons (using a potato masher works well) to release juice and oils. continue to stomp and sitr until lemon juice has liquified the sugar.

add 2 cups hot water. stir to dissolve sugar and further release oils from lemon slices.

after mixture has cooled, by hand, squeeze lemons to release any remaining liquid/oil. discard squeezed lemon slices.

stir in 6 cups cold water.

serve over ice.
