English Toffee

Ingredients
2 sticks unsalted butter1 cup brown sugar1/2 cup water1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Directions
Cook all (except vanilla extract) over high heat, stirring constantly. Cook until hard crack (300 degrees)
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Smooth down on pan or sheet and cut or smash into 20 pieces.
