Lentil and gruyere burgers
saute onions and mushrooms in butter
Use red lentils and cook lentils until mushy
combine cooked rice, lentils, mushrooms, onions, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper to taste and thyme. Stir and add egg when cool. Mix. form into patties and chill. Saute gently serve with salad.
Serving Size: makes 4 burgers
