Easy hot and sour soup

4 C water4 tsp. vegetable bouillon paste3 TBS soy sauce1/4 C mushrooms (I use chinese mushroom mix)1/2 tbs garlic chili sauce1/4 tsp white pepper1/4 c rice vinegar1/3 c bamboo shoots, julienned3 oz tofu, cubed2 TBS cornstarch and 2 TBS water1 egg, beaten2 green onion stalks1/2 tsp sesame oil
bring broth to a boil
add soy sauce, mushrroms and garlic chili paste
simmer for 5 min
add pepper, vinegar, bamboo, tofu
simmer for 5 min
combine cornstarch and water til smooth, add, stirring well
simmer 5 min
beat egg in a cup, pour slowly into soup
wait 30 sec, stir in green onions and sesame oil
serve
Serving Size: makes 4 good-sized servings, however it's so low cal you can gobble it up :0
