All Purpose Quick Mix

Ingredients
5 pound bag of flour (20 cups)4 cups nonfat dry milk powder (or buttermilk powder)3/4 cup baking powder2 Tbsp. salt1 Tbsp. cream of tartar5 cups vegetable shortening
Directions
Whisk (or sift) together the dry ingredients. With a pastry blender, or your hands, (or see Tips section) cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal in texture. Store in airtight container.

Serving Size: makes 8 quarts of mix
