Pear Bread w Vanilla and Ginger 1/10

1/2 c sweet butter room temp1 cup truvia2 large eggs1.5 tsp vanilla2 cups unbleached all purp flour1 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking sodapinch saltzest of 1 lemon grated1/3 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger1/4 c buttermilk1.5 cups chopped peeled and cored pears
Preheat oven 350 and grease loaf pan. In large bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time until just mixed. Add vanilla until just mixed.
In sep bowl, combine dry ingredients, including ginger and lemon, and mix. Add slowly to wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk, beat just until smooth.
Gently fold in pears. Spread into loaf pan and bake in center of oven until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean - 55 to 65 mins. Turn loaf out onto rack and then turn right-side-up to cool completely before slicing.
Serving Size: 10 Slices per loaf
