*Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average, .5 cup cherry tomatoesBlack Olives, 20 gramsGreen Onions, raw, 1 tbsp chopped Mushrooms, canned, .5 cup, fresh if availableGarlic, 1 clove, crushed Romaine Lettuce (salad), 2 cup, shredded )Olive Oil, 2 tbsp Salt, 1 dash Cucumber (with peel), .25 cup choppedBasil, 1 tsp, fresh if available.
Using scissors, cut the tomatoes, crushed garlic, and green onion into the salad bowl, add salt and basil, toss and allow to stand while preparing other ingredients. If using dry basil, allow to stand a bit longer to allow the dried herb to absorb some of the juices from the tomatoes.
Add the olive oil, toss, and allow to stand
Add remaining ingredients and toss.
Serving Size: Makes 1 large salad meal
