One Pot Wonder Tomato and Basil Pasta

Ingredients
16 oz package spaghetti or other dry pasta4.5 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth or water)2.5 cups chopped tomatoes or one 15 oz can diced tomatoes1 large onion, thinly sliced4 cloves garlic2 Tbsp fresh basil2 tsp dried oregano
Directions
Add all ingredients to pot, cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for the amount of time indicated on the pasta package. If liquid remains in the pot at this point, continue to simmer a couple more minutes, with the lid off, until sauce reaches desired consistency.

Serving Size: Makes 8 generous servings, approximately 1/8 of pot each.
