After all the great reviews I was a little bit disappointed by this recipe. I thought that the outside flavors were pretty good but it would have seriously benefited from a marinade because the flavor didn't go through the meat. The inner meat was pretty tasteless. - 6/25/14

I loved it. I'm a beginning cook and didn't know that you have to flatten first then butterfly. If you do it the other way around, the cut you make disappears from pounding the meat. I ended up rolling up the chicken and securing with a toothpick, cooked for 26 minutes and it was quite tasty. - 7/26/10

We really enjoyed this recipe! I agree that I will use a little less cilantro next time, even though we love cilantro. It overpowered the other flavors. Overall, really good though, and it made great leftovers! - 6/14/09

The whole family loved this one. I thought it had a wee bit too much cilantro, but that's just me. Will be making this one again! - 10/27/08

Good recipe. Nice way to change the taste of chicken. I would use a little less cilantro next time. Thanks for sharing this recipe. - 3/29/08

Outstanding! Such a wonderful and tasty change to the humm-drumm of chicken. Plus, for my kids who hate all vegetables, it was easy to hide the "especially yucky" veggies, giving them the nutrition they need. Thanks! - 3/21/08
