W's Turkey with Barley and Garbanzo Beans

Ingredients
1 lb of turkey1 medium onion, chopped3 *(14.5oz cans) or the equivalent of beef bouillon and water3 carrots sliced 1/2 inch length3 celery ribs sliced 1/2 inch length8 Tbl barley1 cup chickpeas (garbanzo beans) or 1/2 lb packageMrs Dash seasoning mixed in beef bouillon1 bay leaf *(optional)
Directions
Brown ground turkey and 1/2 onion in skillet; drain place in slow cooker the turkey,3 14.5 oz or the equivalent with bouillon cube and water;2 sliced carrots,3 ribs celery, go into pot; add .5 lb bag of pearl barley and chickpeas; then add the bouillon with the Mrs Dash salt-free seasoning to your taste Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours - LOW 6-8 hours or whatever your crockpot manual states!
