Caramelized Onion dip

Ingredients
1 TBSP butter1 large onion, sliced2 TBSP cider vinegar2 TBSP honey1 TBSP dijon or brown mustard1/2 c mayo
Directions
in a medium fry pan, melt butter and add onions. Cook over medium to medium low heat until onions are browned and caramelized. This takes longer with lower heat, but it avoids burning.
add onions, vinegar, honey and mustard to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
Pour into a bowl and combine with mayo. Stir until all mayo is incorporated.
