Whole Wheat Baking Powder Drop Biscuits

1 cup all purpose white flour1 cup all purpose whole wheat flour2.5 teaspoons baking powder.5 teaspoon salt1 tablespoon sugar.5 butter, chilled and diced1.25 cups 2% milk
Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Mix both types of flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Cut in the cold butter with a knife or pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk a little at a time, stirring lightly between additions.
Drop the batter by spoonfuls a muffin tin, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the tops are golden.
Serving Size: Makes 12 biscuits
