Tasty Dark Chocolate Banana Muffins

Ingredients
3 medium bananas1 egg1/3 c. unsweetened applesauce1/2 c. granulated sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour1 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/4 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. Ghirardelli 60% Bittersweet Chocolate chips
Directions
Mash bananas. Add egg, applesauce, sugar, and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and add to banana mixture. Gently stir in wheat germ and chocolate chips.

Bake at 375 for 18-20 minutes.
