Minnesota Wild Rice "Hotdish"

6 oz wild rice\3 stalks cerelry, chopped1 medium onion, chopped2 cups fresh mushrooms10 strips bacon, fried, chopped and patted down (get that extra fat out of there)1 can cream of mushroom soup1 cup skim milk.
Rinse wild rice.
Add Wild Rice to 2 qt pan
add 2/12 cups water
heat to boiling,
simmer for 40-50 minutes covered
Meanwhile, fry bacon
pat down bacon when done
rip the bacon into small chunks
Remove fat from pan
If needed, add 1 tsbp of Olive Oil
Chop mushrooms, onion, and celery. Fry until softened.
When rice is done, add to slow cooker with Cream of Mushroom soup, milk, and chopped bacon and Veggies.
Cook on High for 2 - 3 hours. Yummy.
