Potato Chowder in Deep Covered Baker

Ingredients
1 32 oz bag southern style frozen hash browns3 1/2 cups 1% milk, divided1/4 cup sour cream1 tsp salt1/4 tsp pepper1/4 tsp onion powder2 T. butter, unsalted1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Directions
In Deep Covered Baker, place frozen hash browns evenly along the bottom and pour 1 cup milk over the potatoes.
Microwave for 10-12 minutes and then mash potatoes coarsely using Mix 'n Chop or a potato masher.

Whisk sour cream and remaining milk together and pour over potatoes. Add salt, pepper, onion powder, and butter to the pot and stir.

Microwave an additional 5 minutes until heated through. Add cheese and stir until melted. Heat longer if needed to melt cheese.

Add green onions, bacon bits and additional cheese on top if desired (not in nutritional info)
