Dutch Apple Pie (Seymour)

1 - Frozen Pillsbury deep dish pie crust Topping:1 c. flour1/2 c. brown sugar1/4 c. quick-cooking oats6 T. butter, meltedFilling:2/3 c. sugar3 T. cornstarch1 and 1/4 c. cold water4 c. tart apples, peeled and sliced1 tsp. vanilla
For topping: In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, oats and butter.
For filling: combine the sugar, cornstarch and water in a large sauce pan. Bring to boil; stirring constantly. Reduce heat and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in apples and vanilla.
Pour apple mixture into a prepared deep dish pie crust. Top with brown sugar mixture.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 min.
